Mtn Nigeria are really waking and their are coming back with
force. Maybe, it is back to back . After losing so much
customers, after increasing their data bundle plan fees, after
doing extra-nonsense things, Mtn Nigeria are really coming
back.
Today, Mtn Nigeria are planning to launched 4G LTE Network
in July, 2016. Maybe, Ntel Nigeria has made the 4G LTE
network in Nigeria a wanted network. Hence, all the network
including Airtel, Glo, Etisalat are expected to comply.
MTN Nigeria is set to roll out its Fourth Generation Long Term
Evolution (4G LTE) broadband services latest by July 2016 in
selected cities, using the 800MHz frequency acquired from
Visafone Ltd earlier this year.
MTN plans to have about 1,500 LTE collocated sites
backhauled with fibre optics this year. 4G LTE Network is best
used with 4G LTE Android Smartphones .
This is an interesting News, Ntel should speed up their 4G LTE
Sim card and all the processes involved because if MTN dares
launched this 4G LTE in Nigeria, probably, Nobody may hear
about NTEL again.

Meanwhile, All other network in Nigeria are required to stand
up, sit up and face the challenges of launching their own 4G
LTE network, because sooner or later, Nobody may talk about
2G or 3G Network!

The chief executive officer, MTN, Mr Fedinand
Moolman, confirmed, during MTN Group Ltd’s
first quarter results analyst conference with
investment firms recently held in
Johannesburg, South Africa, that the main
reason MTN acquired Visafone was to get
access to the frequency which would allow it
roll out LTE. He said that MTN has started the
process to migrate all the Visafone subscribers
onto its network so that they can clean up the
frequency and start rolling out LTE.
